Ms. Ranjini Manuelpillai

Director of AgroMicro Group

Ms. Manuelpillai, formerly Deputy General Manager (Finance) of the Bank of Ceylon, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London, and holds a BSc. Hons in Mathematics from the University of Madras. She has followed several professional courses overseas and has held directorates in many companies, including the Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka, Property Development Finance Corporation, and National Housing Development Authority. She was a member of the Mediation Commission and is the Acting Chairperson of Agromart Outreach Foundation.

Mr. Premananda Gunasekera

Director of AgroMicro Group

Mr. Gunasekera was the former assistant Secretary to the Chief Ministry and Provincial Director (Agriculture) of the North Western Province. With over 35 years of service in Agricultural Extension. Education and Training, Mr.Gunasekera has been a resource person to the UNDP, World View International, FAO and SAARC for over 10 years. Mr.Gunasekara was instrumental in setting up the audio visual center the Department of Agriculture, Gannoruwa, Peradeniya in 1979 January after the training in UK. This center now stands at National Level. Mr. Gunasekera is a Past Graduate in Agricultural Science and holds a Diploma in Agriculture. Mr. Gunasekera was appointed to the Board of Directors of AMF in 2000.

Mr. M.M Premachandra

Director of AgroMicro Group

Mr. Premachandra, a retired Class I officer of the Sri Lanka Agricultural Service, dedicated nearly 30 years to public service. He earned a B.Sc. in Agriculture from the University of Ceylon and an M.Sc. in Agricultural Extension from the University of Reading, UK. Throughout his career, he served in various roles across districts and provinces, contributing significantly to agricultural development. He was a resource person for UNICEFs Human Resource Development Program in Mahaweli settlements and an agronomist for the ADB-assisted Water Resources Development Project in the North-Western Province. Mr. Premachandra participated in numerous international study programs and received the prestigious "Agriculturist of the Year - 2003" award. Appointed to the AMF Board in 2013, he also chaired the Mediation Board under the Ministry of Justice, serving the public for 10 years.

Mr. Dimantha Mathew

Chief Research and Strategy Officer

Dimantha Mathew has over 15 years of experience with investment banking a predominant focus. Dimantha brings significant exposure in economic, fixed income and equity research, portfolio management, debt and equity financing strategy, project finance, and corporate finance and advisory services. Prior to joining First Capital, Dimantha acted as Head of Research at Softlogic Stockbrokers. He had also worked at Capital Alliance and John Keells Stockbrokers.Dimantha holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wales, UK and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London.He is an Attorney-at-Law in Sri Lanka and also holds ACMA and CGMA qualifications.

Mr.Sonal Kiriarachchi

Finance Director with a proven track record of providing leadership and guidance to various organizations for over 20 years of his accounting and finance career. In his career in addition to overlooking the Accounting and Finance he was also involved in Business Development, Change Management, Strategy Formulation and Organisational Restructuring. He has completed Master of Business in Professional Accounting and MBA at University of Victoria Australia. He also hold the membership of Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) Australia.

Ms. Tharanga Ileperuma

General Manager and Executive Director

Ms. Tharanga Ileperuma started her career in 2004 joining to the Micro Finance industry. During her career over 18 years she has experience in Accounting, Auditing, Finance Management, Human resource Management and Administration. She is a passed finalist in CIMA(UK) and has successfully completed Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Sunderland – UK. And also she has gained several other qualifications such as the Post-graduate Diploma from Cardiff Metropolitan University-UK and Diploma in Microfinance in IBSL. She holds the membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Sri Lanka as the Certified Business Accountant, and the Institute of AAT –SL. Ms. Tharanga Ileperuma has also served as a Director of Lanka Microfinance Practitioners’ Association in Sri Lanka.
